Day ELEVEN of Sydney's Grace to Others

"Day Eleven of Sydney's Grace to Others: this older young man helped me unload an elderly handicapped woman's groceries onto the loading belt for her. The cashier told me they had someone to do that but I said "no, why when we can? And I really want to teach him how to serve others..and we want to bless her..." Cashier winked with the sweetest grin thank you eyes when we left and told Liam thank you. At first he was shy/embarrassed but I told him he should never ever feel embarrassed helping others. Being a selfish brat or prideful jerk in life will be embarrassing I told him but never serving others, that feeling will always trump pride and fill the heart with good soul food. I told him how proud I was of him.. Serving the lady, blessing the cashier, honoring his sister, blessing his mama and his God. It took us 2 min for all of that heart work. Hearts fuller than our cart! And we should always have these eyes on to help others. Nothing is more important than loving mercy..#syds30daysofgrace"
