HOPE.

my sweet, sweet friend anna gave this willow tree little boy to me the week after sydney died. the child is holding up a sign of HOPE and i placed it with our family picture where i can see it everyday. what she might not know, is that i had it by my bed for a while and then on my bathroom counter to see EVERY morning, to remind me to not give up. she will never know just how much this sweet little gift meant to me in those first few months. she wrote a beautiful card with encouraging scripture and brought us a meal, but something about this little child reminding me of HOPE has stayed with me and touched me greatly. thank you sweet friend, for your courage and strength to reach out to me, to give me a lifeline and a reminder of the HOPE that is found in our Lord....i think of you everytime i see it and thank the Lord for your friendship and presence in my life......
