here is a petition you can sign to help pass legislation for a stillborn to be given a certificate of birth AND death, 21 states so far i believe have this law but many are pushing for a bill in their state to be passed....my state of new mexico, thanks to governor richardson who vetoed the bill, is still working on getting legislation passed for families like ours who want sydney's life to be counted, not just her death....if you sign the petition, you have to be a registered voter in the state you live and sign with the state in which you live...so if you live in NM with me, than your signature will be on the NM petition and if you live in missouri, it will be counted towards that state's petition and so forth with each of the other states listed....you may also donate to the M.I.S.S. foundation here if you feel passionate or moved to do so to help make a difference..your giving will support and help the foundation to continue helping family's through their child's death and grieving processes and even help with the legislative expenses as well. thanks.
