timber.....

evidently there was a tornado in dallas where my parents live and it took to one of our trees in the front yard early this morning. the tree twisted and fell at an angle; the tree guy said if it had fallen against the house, all 15,000 lbs would have landed on my parent's bed. 4:00am in the morning. wow. he says the roof buckled and moved. the roots are up out of the ground and too high to grind so they will have to bring a tractor in to drag it out of the hole. i can't believe how lucky there were and lucky we are that they are safe....i am sure my mom will post pictures soon, but Praise God for saving my family from harm..the tree, well that's a whole other blog in itself...a lot of history....but for now, i am just glad my parent's are safe. since sydney died, trees, houses, cars and the such just don't EVEN matter over the priceless and irreplaceable people that in our in my life....maybe we can turn the damage into something beautiful and now will be a great reason and time to plant a sydney tree in it's place at my parent's house...
