ian's 3 week long project for sydney's service is not working right and we are unable to make it happen right now. ian's heart and soul went into this idea and project, with time and headaches and more....
if ever any of you out there have prayed for us, please pray tonight, for a SUPERNATURAL way for this to work, for it to happen...for ian's seed of a dream to honor his daughter to come to fruition tomorrow.
we are crushed. we are tired. we are anxious. we are angry. we are sad. we are missing her. we are frantic. we are miserable. we are fighting. we are heavy. we are burdened. we are lost. we are one less and we feel every minute of it.
none of these things are peace, none of them joy....
i pray tonight a blanket of peace will cover our home and our hearts so that we may rise and be joyful in ALL things to celebrate our daughter's life tomorrow...that we will feel an overwhelming, unexplainable peace that surpasses ANY and ALL understanding that will sustain us through the day.....
it feels like november 30th all over again...our hearts don't know the difference...please, i beg for prayer.

Hi, I found some verses that I hope will encourage you.. I am praying and will continue to pray.. I know God's hand is on every detail, and element of tomorrow.. I pray you can rest in that, that your mind will not be consumed with details and frustration but clear so that you'll see His works. I pray tomorrow heals your heart, just a little bit more.. It's a long journey, but you've come so far.. He has entrusted you with Sydney's legacy, and you are doing a beautiful job of representing it to others. Sydney's life has changed, challenged and inspired many.. I pray you get a glimpse of that tomorrow..

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.. Psalm 34:18
Praying for you tonight.. I hope these verses bring you peace.. I pray you remember that God knows the deepest desires of your heart, He favors the crushed in spirit, and your work, and your suffering will not be in vain.. This time honoring sweet Sydney is in His hands, He knows the depth of your pain, the importance of this day, and the desire of your heart.. He will not drop the ball, He has not brought you this far to just say Ok, I am done.. Remember He is there, right beside you.. I pray for Ians project to miraculously work.. I pray God just fixes it, that He shows off his love, compassion, favor and grace in this act.. I pray if for whatever reason this project doesn't pull through and doesn't work that God provides peace, and that God shows you His work.. He will orchestrate this, He doesn't perform second rate miracles.. His ways are for a purpose, and I pray that you see that no matter what the outcome is.. I pray you see His hand on every single part of your day, and that you rest in God's perfection.. It doesn't always look like what we want, but it's always perfect. He knows, and has seen the amount of time, tears, efforts and energy.. They will not be void.. Remember that Sydney was created by Him, for a specific purpose.. She is His child, and the plans that take some people a life time to complete, He fulfilled in months.. Her legacy is beautiful, and impacting. He is working with you to make this a reflection of her beautiful, meaningful, impacting life.. He is with you, not against you.. Look for him as you walk through this..And remember, He has mercy on you, He is faithful, He loves you.. I pray you have you are in awe of His works tomorrow.. I pray that He blows you away...

I love these last 2 that refer to the morning, each day is new.. His mercies are new.. When referring to the morning, it brings hope.. It shows that yes, right now absolutely sucks, but the wait for the morning.. Long for the morning..His compassions never fail, we are NEVER consumed, and we will see what's in the works right this second played out.. He is faithful. Trust and rest in Him..
We had two memorial services, one here in the US and one in South Africa before we made the return trip. (Jenna died while we were visiting family there)
Both times hubby's slideshow of Jenna wouldn't work. The first time for unexplained reasons, and the second one due to a power failure! But it worked out! Hubby prayed and it started, miraculuosly. And the power came on soon enough here in the US.
Praying that for you too.
