On the day our Sydney was to be born, we bought 4 pretty pink balloons, one for Sydney, one for Liam, one for Daddy and one for Mommy. Ian and I each wrote a special note to our daughter and Liam drew a picture for his sister and we tied our notes to the balloons. Ian prayed for us, prayed for God to help us release our Sydney to Him as we let go of the strings...It was so hard, so painful...but Liam's joy in watching and cheering on the balloons to the heavens made us quickly smile...my balloon and Ian's balloon stayed close together the whole way up, while the kids balloons each went their own way....we watched them until they disappeared. Thank you, sweet Amy friend, for capturing this special moment for us, to always have and remember...
