We found a perfect pink "Charlie monkey" for Sydney today, while getting our pink balloons to send to heaven for her...it would have been the perfect gift for Liam to take to meet his baby sister had she been born today...so I decided that he should STILL get to get it for her....it's just like Liam's monkey Charlie he loves, only pink. I told him whenever we are sad or miss our Syd, we can hug and cuddle the little Sydney's "Charlie" and think of her and we can hold on to it for her since she didn't get to snug it...he told me this afternoon that he wanted her "Charlie" now, instead of his own and he has carried it all day so far....if you can get past the cute little boy holding a pink monkey, it is, infact, quite adorable that he wants his sister's monkey to hold....I am so glad we got it "for her" for him....today at the park, we each wrote a note to Sydney and Liam drew his sister a picture and we attached them to pink balloons and we sent them all up into the heavens...Thank you to so many for your cards, emails, and prayers today. They are sustaining us as is HE...in a day when our arms feel so empty.

Sydney's "Charlie"

I think her Charlie is perfect. And I stand in awe at the way God is speaking through you to heal that sweet brother's heart, even in your brokenness. His light shines so brightly through you.
God knew exactly where Charlie was going to live and what she would mean to Liam. God knows everything!!! Charlie is sweet and perfect.
